What is your current job? Or what did you do before staying at home (if you don’t currently work outside the home)?
My husband and I have a construction management consulting company. I joined him after Lucas was born. Prior to that I worked in banking.
What are three fun facts about you?
- I used to play on a co-ed touch football team for many years
- My husband and I dated long distance from Hawaii to New York

What is one of your proudest moments as a mom so far?
I love watching my son become his own person. It’s so fun to watch his personality develop, grow and evolve, but also see what is truly core to him.
When did you join FIT4MOM Honolulu?
I believe I joined after Lucas was born in 2016 and did Stroller Strides. I took a break and then returned to Body Back/Body Well.
What is your favorite class to attend?
Body Well
Who is your workout buddy and their age?
Lucas is my son who just turned 9
What is your favorite thing about FIT4MOM?
The community, the workouts and the accountability.
What would you say to a mom that is on the fence about joining FIT4MOM?
I strongly encourage moms to join Fit4Mom. It’s really powerful to be a part of a community that can support moms and be surrounded by people who are going through or have gone through what you’re going through as a mom. It’s also an opportunity to support other moms and families in kind. Also, we live in on a beautiful island. Joining Fit4Mom is a great way to exercise out in nature and challenge yourself with the views of the mountains, oceans and parks is an incredible way to workout.
Share your thoughts on the concept of “it takes a village” – is it important for moms to join a village?
Motherhood is an amazing, but challenging journey. Being surrounded by other mothers, children and families is so helpful.
What is your favorite beverage?
Coffee
What is your favorite thing to eat?
A nice cheese plate followed by chocolate.
You are given 4 hours of FREE babysitting. What would you do?
I would get a message followed by a long nap.
What is your ultimate child-free vacation destination?
I would love to do an extended trip New Zealand and tour around, hike and go wine tasting.
How has becoming a mother changed you?
Nine Years later and I still feel like I have imposter syndrome! Motherhood is both humbling and empowering. I have learned I’m capable of a lot, but have a lot to learn.
