Our Favorite Pumpkin Patches & Festivals in Oahu

PUMPKIN SEASON IS HERE AND WE'VE SCOUTED ALL THE PUMPKIN PATCHES IN OAH'U!

Every year, we arrange Fit4Mom Honolulu playdates at the top three Fall festivals. It is always a hit with our keiki. Make sure you take our kids to these farms & events, or better yet, come with us to the pumpkin patch with FIT4MOM HONOLULU!

Waimānalo Country Farms Fall Harvest Festival

This farm is gorgeous! The family-run farm in Waimanalo has iconic sunflower fields that people love to take photos in. The grow their own corn, but the pumpkins are flown in from the mainland. In my opinion, they lose points for not growing their own pumpkins, but they make up for it in small-town charm. The price of pumpkins ranges from $2 to $20 depending on size. They have a farm stand with food and beverage items, such as cornbread and lemonade. They have a keiki activity zone, a petting zoo, and have tractor-pulled hale bale rides. To my knowledge the farm's tractor and machinery is run on vegetable oil from the corn they grow. Gotta love going GREEN as much as possible on a small, resource-limited island.

Make sure to bring your Hawai‘i I.D. or military card to receive a $3 discount.

Saturday, Sept. 28, to Saturday, Nov. 9 (Tuesdays through Sundays), 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends and 1 to 4 p.m. on weekdays $6 to $16.26, free for 2 years and under, 41-225 Lupe St., waimanalocountryfarms.com, @waimanalocountryfarms

Aloun Farms Annual Pumpkin Festival

On the other side of the island in Kapolei , there is Aloun Farms. Aloun Farms is a huge farm covering 3,000 acres and has a wide variety of products like green beans, Ewa sweet onions, Ewa sweet corn, choy sum, taro root, and PUMPKINS!

What I like the most about this festival is that you can harvest your own pumpkins, corn and string beans! Take a look at the HUGE pumpkin I harvested from their fields in 2022! But beware, Kapolei is HOT!!! Make sure to wear sunscreen and don't wear anything fancy for photos, because you'll sweat like crazy. The festival also has a slew of activities, such as a petting zoo and free hayrides, and a farm stand, so bring your reuseable bags!

Oct. 12–27, Saturdays and Sundays, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

$5, free for 2 years and under, free parking, 91-1440 Farrington Highway, alounfarms.com, @alounfarmshawaii

Ward Village Halloween Celebration & Pumpkin Patch

This one day celebration is easy for our in-town members to get to. Ward Village has a pumpkin patch, face painting, caricature drawings, pumpkin spice malasadas and festive photo displays for snapping spooky pics with family, friends and even pets. It's free to attend, but what I dislike about anything located in town and advertised as "free" is the massive lines.

Saturday, Oct. 26, 10 a.m. to noon

Free, South Shore Market courtyard, 1170 Auahi St., wardvillage.com, @wardvillage
